The Lagos State Police Command has arraigned a Father of one, Ojo Oluwasegun, before an Isolo Magistrate’s Court for allegedly stealing a Tricycle.

Integrated Community Torch  gathered that the defendant has worked with the tricycle entrusted to him for three weeks, before absconding with it, the owner of the tricycle learnt of his disappearance when the defendant father, who stood as a guarantor , one Mr. Micheal Sunday Ojo, at number 8 Ojo street Mushin, reported the case of his son's disappearance to the police.
Oluwasegun was later arrested in Kwara state, where he allegedly ran to, while the tricycle is still missing.

The charge read, “That you, Olwasegun Ojo male on January 15 2015 in Mushin, allegedly did fraudulent act, making away with a tricycle, registration number EK1501QF, yellow in colour, valued at #399,000 entrusted to you  and thereby committed an offence punishable under Section 285 (1) (10) of the Criminal Law of Lagos State, 2011.”
The defendant however, pleaded not guilty to the charge.
The presiding magistrate,Hon Mrs. J Ugbomoiko , admitted him to bail in the sum of N100,000  with two sureties in like sum. .
The case was adjourned till August 26.
